Drew Richter is no stranger to facing a challenge. Most of which come from the high expectations he places on himself and his work and persevering until he has overcome those challenges. It is his mission to leverage work ethic and determination to bring to life new and unique ideas and messages that can influence people's values, beliefs, and culture through mixing and mastering music. By taking initiative and using analytical thinking Richter can help artists explore their strengths and weaknesses to create a high quality and expressive product.
Originally born and raised in Maryland (Greater Baltimore Area), Richter grew up learning percussion and drum set. Despite being born with hearing loss, Richter has established his career in music. Richter states he is another example that there is no challenge too great to prevent you from pursuing your passion. In the Spring of 2021 Richter graduated from The University of Memphis with a degree in Recording Technology. After graduating Richter relocated to San Bernardino, California to work as an A/V Technician and freelance audio engineer in both live sound and recording. With experience recording artists and working larger music festivals Richter’s versatile skills in audio can help your next project be the best it can be. In addition to audio engineering, he works as a session and live drummer providing accompaniment to various studio and performing projects.
